I am looking for an effective solution
against jet lag.

Description of the problem

You frequently fly long distances (more than 3 time zones) and you are fed up with jet lag: insomnia, drowsiness, physical and mental tiredness, moodiness, finding it hard to concentrate etc.

What can I expect from Luminette ?

Some simple advice and using your LuminetteĀ® can significantly reduce the effects of jet lag.

During the flight
Set your watch to the time at your destination, drink plenty of water and cut down on alcohol, coffee and tea.

On arrival
If you are travelling East, we advise you to avoid sunlight on arrival (by wearing glasses that filter blue light or sun glasses with a high protection index) in the morning and to wear Luminette in the afternoon (if you can, get into the sunlight) in order to maintain a low level of melatonin. Over the following days, move your session forward by 2 hours each day, taking care not to go past your normal waking time.

If you are travelling West, we recommend that when you arrive you stay awake throughout the daytime and wear your LuminetteĀ® in the early afternoon (between midday and 3 p.m.). Go to sleep as soon as night falls.

When should I use Luminette ?

The time to use Luminette depends on several factors: the time and place of departure, the time and place of arrival etc. You can obtain your personal schedule by downloading the mobile application MyLuminette. This will give you specific advice for each flight, thereby helping you to adjust your biological clock up to twice as fast.
